Every Transalp
has its own route.
"Transalp" isn't a single race, but a multi-day crossing of the Alps by bike — usually from Bavaria or the Allgäu to Italy, over several passes and several thousand metres of elevation spread across multiple stages.
Well-known classics include the Garmisch–Lake Garda route, Munich–Venice and the Albrecht Route, but most Transalp riders put together their own stages. Most Transalp tours take place between June and September, when the high passes are free of snow. Whether a fully planned route or spontaneous daily stages: in the end, all that matters for your poster is your own GPX recording.
