Your photos where you took them

Up to 8 photos around the map, with a fine line to the spot on the route. Without GPS in the photo we find the spot via the capture time – even for your finish photo.

Official distance

Your watch measured 42.8 km? The poster says 42.195. For marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 5 km we suggest the official distance.

Finish time and pace

The time comes from your recording – or you enter your official net time. We calculate the pace in min/km from it.

Route with kilometre markers

A marker every 5 km, every 10 or 20 km on long runs. Start and finish carry the place name; on loop courses it says “Start & Finish”.

Elevation profile when it matters

For flat city marathons we leave it out and the map gets bigger. For trail or mountain runs we show the profile and elevation gain.

For every distance

From a 5 km run to a half marathon to an ultra – as long as your watch records a GPX or FIT file.

How it works

Nothing to type in.
Three steps.

01

Upload your watch file

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions
to the Marathon Poster with Photos.

Is there anything missing? Drop us a quick line — we usually reply within a day.

My watch shows 42.8 km – what goes on the poster?
The official distance. GPS watches almost always measure a little more than the certified course in a race. For marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 5 km we suggest the official distance automatically, but you can change it in the editor at any time.
Where does the finish time come from?
From your recording, from start to end. If it differs from your official net time, just enter the time from the results list – we recalculate the pace from it.
My photos have no GPS data – does it still work?
Yes. We then use the capture time to place the photo where you were at that moment. Your watch saved the time for every point of the route – so even a photo taken by a photographer at the roadside ends up at the right kilometre.
Which files can I upload?
GPX or FIT files from Garmin, Coros, Polar, Suunto, Apple Watch (via an export app) or Strava. One file is enough for a poster.
Do I need an elevation profile?
Only if there was climbing. For flat city marathons we hide the profile and elevation gain automatically – the map gets bigger. For trail or mountain runs it’s included, and you can switch it on or off at any time.
How much does the poster cost?
The printed poster starts at €37.99 with free shipping. Photos cost nothing extra. It’s also available in a black aluminium frame or as a PDF download.
